SereneQ GHRP-2

GHRP-2 is a synthetic hexapeptide and ghrelin receptor agonist, one of the most potent first-generation GH secretagogues. It was developed in parallel with GHRP-6 in the 1980s and 1990s as part of programmes to find orally active or injectable GH-releasing compounds. GHRP-2 consistently produces stronger GH pulses than GHRP-6 in head-to-head comparisons at equivalent doses, with a moderate rather than strong appetite stimulation effect — GHRP-6 is more potent as a ghrelin mimetic for appetite, while GHRP-2 is more potent as a GH secretagogue.

What the research covers

GHRP-2 has been studied for GH pulse amplitude, IGF-1 elevation, body composition effects and anabolic activity in animal models. It has also attracted research for its cytoprotective properties independent of GH: studies in cardiac and neurological models suggest it has protective effects that are not fully explained by GH elevation alone, implicating direct ghrelin receptor signalling in tissue. It is often studied in combination with GHRH analogues for synergistic GH release.

The pen format

This is where SereneQ does things differently. Instead of lyophilised vials that need reconstituting and drawing up separately, the compound arrives pre-loaded in solution in a graduated injection pen with a dial and a dose window.

Handling and storage
