Description
SereneQ Ipamorelin + CJC-1295 No DAC
This pen combines two compounds that are studied together more than any other pairing in the GH secretagogue literature. CJC-1295 No DAC (also known as Mod GRF 1-29) is a 29-amino acid analogue of growth hormone-releasing hormone with four amino acid substitutions that increase stability and potency. Ipamorelin is a synthetic pentapeptide and ghrelin receptor agonist. They act on different receptor systems — GHRH receptor and GHS-R1a respectively — which is why their combination produces a synergistic GH pulse rather than simply an additive one.
The mechanism of combination
Somatotrophs in the anterior pituitary release GH in pulses. The amplitude and duration of each pulse is governed by two signals working in opposition: GHRH (stimulates release) and somatostatin (inhibits release). CJC-1295 No DAC mimics GHRH and amplifies the stimulatory signal. Ipamorelin, acting through the ghrelin receptor, independently raises intracellular calcium in somatotrophs and also suppresses somatostatin tone. Together they hit the stimulatory pathway harder and simultaneously reduce the brake — which is what produces the synergistic pulse amplitude seen in pharmacology studies.
No DAC vs DAC
The No DAC form of CJC-1295 (without Drug Affinity Complex) has a half-life of around 30 minutes, producing a GH pulse that closely mimics the natural pulsatile pattern. The DAC version has a multi-day half-life, producing continuous elevation rather than pulsing. Most researchers studying the combination use No DAC specifically to preserve the pulsatile pattern.
Where the evidence sits
Most data is animal or early human pharmacology. The combination does not hold a medicines licence. Supplied strictly as a laboratory research chemical.
The pen format
This is where SereneQ does things differently. Instead of lyophilised vials that need reconstituting and drawing up separately, the compound arrives pre-loaded in solution in a graduated injection pen with a dial and a dose window.
- Ipamorelin and CJC-1295 No DAC pre-blended in solution at a fixed ratio
- Graduated dial with dose window
- 300 units total per pen
- 4 × sealed pen tips, 32G 0.23 × 4mm
- Batch number, expiry and serial printed directly on the pen barrel
Handling and storage
- Store refrigerated at 2–8°C. Do not freeze.
- Keep in the outer carton, away from direct light.
- Short periods at room temperature during transit are expected and normal.
- Use a fresh sealed tip for each dispense. Dispose of tips in a sharps container.
- Expiry 12/2027 on sealed, correctly stored stock.
- Keep out of reach of children and animals.
