SereneQ HGH Somatropin 100iu

Somatropin is recombinant human growth hormone — a 191-amino acid single-chain polypeptide produced by recombinant DNA technology with the same sequence as the endogenous hormone secreted by the anterior pituitary. The 100iu pen is the higher-dose format in the SereneQ GH range, intended for research programmes requiring larger or more prolonged administration volumes.

What the research covers

Growth hormone has a broad research profile across body composition, metabolism and tissue maintenance. It stimulates IGF-1 production in the liver, which mediates many of its anabolic effects. Research areas include lean mass preservation in GH-deficient adult populations, adipose tissue reduction (particularly visceral fat), bone density maintenance, recovery from soft tissue injury, and skin collagen content. In anti-ageing research it is studied in the context of the somatopause — the progressive decline in GH secretion with age — and its downstream effects on body composition and recovery capacity.

Where the evidence sits

Somatropin has an extensive clinical evidence base in paediatric growth disorders and adult GH deficiency, where it is licensed. Outside licensed indications, the evidence base is mixed — improvements in body composition are consistently reported, but long-term safety data at higher doses in healthy adults is limited. This is where SereneQ does things differently. Instead of lyophilised vials that need reconstituting and drawing up separately, the compound arrives pre-loaded in solution in a graduated injection pen with a dial and a dose window.
