Description
SereneQ TB500
TB500 is a synthetic fragment of Thymosin Beta-4, isolated around the actin-binding region LKKTETQ. The full Thymosin Beta-4 protein is 43 amino acids and is among the most abundant intracellular proteins in mammalian cells — it is the principal actin-sequestering molecule, regulating the pool of free globular actin (G-actin) available to form filamentous actin (F-actin) networks. That control of actin dynamics is what connects Thymosin Beta-4 in the literature to cell migration, since cells cannot move without reorganising their actin cytoskeleton. The LKKTETQ fragment retains this activity and has better solubility and bioavailability characteristics than the full protein.
What the research covers
Animal studies have examined TB500 in models of tendon and ligament injury, skeletal muscle crush and laceration, cardiac ischaemia-reperfusion, corneal wound healing and dermal repair. A consistent theme in the literature is that it does not simply accelerate existing repair processes — it appears to recruit cell types (endothelial cells, keratinocytes) that would not normally migrate to a site, by enabling directed movement. The cardiac work is notable: studies in rat infarction models showed reduced fibrosis and improved ventricular function, which generated interest from a group that later conducted a small human pilot in ischaemic cardiomyopathy.
Where the evidence sits
Almost all published work is animal or in vitro. The cardiomyopathy pilot is the only published human data; it was small and not placebo-controlled. TB500 does not hold a medicines licence anywhere. Supplied strictly as a laboratory research chemical.
The pen format
This is where SereneQ does things differently. Instead of lyophilised vials that need reconstituting and drawing up separately, the compound arrives pre-loaded in solution in a graduated injection pen with a dial and a dose window.
- TB500 (Thymosin Beta-4 fragment) in pre-loaded solution
- Graduated dial with dose window
- 300 units total per pen
- 4 × sealed pen tips, 32G 0.23 × 4mm
- Batch number, expiry and serial printed directly on the pen barrel
Handling and storage
- Store refrigerated at 2–8°C. Do not freeze.
- Keep in the outer carton, away from direct light.
- Short periods at room temperature during transit are expected and normal.
- Use a fresh sealed tip for each dispense. Dispose of tips in a sharps container.
- Expiry 12/2027 on sealed, correctly stored stock.
- Keep out of reach of children and animals.
What is in the box
