Description
Quanta Pharma TB-500 5mg
TB-500 is a synthetic peptide based on the active region of thymosin beta-4, a protein the body makes in large amounts and which is involved in repairing damaged tissue. The Quanta Pharma version is a lyophilised 5mg vial for reconstitution.
What the research covers
Thymosin beta-4 controls actin, the protein that lets cells change shape and move. That is why TB-500 is studied for how quickly repair cells reach an injury, for wound closure, for new blood vessel growth and for reducing inflammation. Unlike BPC-157, which tends to act near where it is given, its effects in research models appear across the whole body. The two are often studied together for that reason.
Where the evidence sits
The evidence is from animal and cell studies. There are no licensed human uses, and TB-500 is on the World Anti-Doping Agency prohibited list. Supplied strictly as a laboratory research chemical.
