Description

Quanta Pharma Bacteriostatic Water 10ml

Bacteriostatic water is sterile water with 0.9% benzyl alcohol added. The benzyl alcohol stops bacteria growing, so one vial can be drawn from several times. Plain sterile water should only be used once.

What it is for

It is the standard liquid for reconstituting lyophilised (freeze-dried) peptide vials such as BPC-157 and TB-500. One 10ml vial is enough to reconstitute several peptide vials.

How to reconstitute a vial

  • Swab both stoppers with an alcohol wipe
  • Draw the amount of water you need into a sterile syringe
  • Insert the needle at an angle and let the water run slowly down the inside wall of the peptide vial. Do not spray it onto the powder
  • Swirl gently until clear. Do not shake
  • Label the vial with the date and keep it refrigerated

Handling and storage

  • Sealed: room temperature or 2–8°C.
  • Once opened: keep at 2–8°C and use within 28 days.
  • Keep out of reach of children and animals.

What is in the box

  • 1 × 10ml sealed vial of bacteriostatic water (0.9% benzyl alcohol)
