Quanta Pharma BPC-157 5mg

BPC-157, short for Body Protection Compound-157, is a synthetic peptide of 15 amino acids. Its sequence is taken from a larger protective protein found in human gastric juice. The Quanta Pharma version is a lyophilised 5mg vial for reconstitution.

What the research covers

BPC-157 has an unusually wide research profile. Most studies look at soft-tissue repair (tendons, ligaments and muscle), protection of the stomach and gut lining, and bone and joint healing, with further work on nerve injury and inflammation. The proposed mechanisms include new blood vessel formation at the site of an injury, more growth hormone receptors on repairing tissue, and effects on the nitric oxide system.

Where the evidence sits

Nearly all of the evidence comes from animal and cell studies, much of it from a single research group in Zagreb. Controlled human trials are very limited, so results in animals should not be taken as proof of the same effect in people. BPC-157 is not licensed as a medicine anywhere, and it has been on the World Anti-Doping Agency prohibited list since 2022. Supplied strictly as a laboratory research chemical.

The vial format

• 5mg BPC-157 per vial
• Lyophilised (freeze-dried) powder in a sealed glass vial with a rubber stopper
• Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water, run slowly down the inside wall of the vial
• Swirl gently until clear. Do not shake
• Bacteriostatic water is sold separately: tick the box next to Add to basket to include it

Handling and storage

• Store sealed vials refrigerated at 2–8°C, away from direct light.
• Once reconstituted, keep refrigerated at 2–8°C and use within 28 days.
• Do not freeze a reconstituted vial.
• Swab the stopper with an alcohol wipe before every draw.
• Keep out of reach of children and animals.
