Description
Quanta Pharma Retatrutide 30mg
Retatrutide is a triple hormone receptor agonist. A single molecule acts on the GLP-1, GIP and glucagon receptors, where tirzepatide acts on two and semaglutide on one. The Quanta Pharma version is a lyophilised 30mg vial and comes with bacteriostatic water for reconstitution.
What the research covers
GLP-1 and GIP activity reduces appetite, slows how quickly the stomach empties and improves insulin release. The glucagon component adds something the older compounds do not have: it raises energy expenditure and fat burning, so the effect goes beyond eating less. Its half-life of around six days supports once-weekly research protocols.
Where the evidence sits
The main evidence is a Phase 2 trial published in the New England Journal of Medicine in 2023, in which the highest dose produced an average 24.2% reduction in body weight at 48 weeks, with improvements in liver fat, blood pressure and blood lipids. Larger Phase 3 trials followed. Retatrutide is not licensed as a medicine, and the trial results come from pharmaceutical-grade product under medical supervision, not from this vial. Supplied strictly as a laboratory research chemical.
