SereneQ Tirzepatide

Tirzepatide is a dual GIP and GLP-1 receptor agonist, the first approved dual incretin in clinical medicine. Where GLP-1 agonists slow gastric emptying and suppress appetite through one pathway, tirzepatide adds GIP receptor activation — an incretin that amplifies insulin secretion and independently modulates fat cell metabolism. The SURMOUNT-1 trial showed mean weight reductions of around 21% at the highest doses over 72 weeks. It reached the market as Mounjaro and Zepbound. The compound supplied here is the same active molecule in research-format pre-filled pens, not pharmaceutical product.

Where the evidence sits

Multiple large Phase 3 trials have been published in peer-reviewed journals. The SURPASS and SURMOUNT programmes are the primary evidence base, covering type 2 diabetes, obesity, sleep apnoea and heart failure with preserved ejection fraction. All of that work was conducted with a pharmaceutical formulation at titrated doses under clinical supervision. None of it applies directly to the pen format here. Supplied strictly as a laboratory research chemical.

The pen format

This is where SereneQ does things differently. Instead of lyophilised vials that need reconstituting and drawing up separately, the compound arrives pre-loaded in solution in a graduated injection pen with a dial and a dose window.

Handling and storage

• Store refrigerated at 2–8°C. Do not freeze.
• Keep in the outer carton, away from direct light.
• Short periods at room temperature during transit are expected and normal.
• Use a fresh sealed tip for each dispense. Dispose of tips in a sharps container.
• Expiry 12/2027 on sealed, correctly stored stock.
• Keep out of reach of children and animals.
